The certificate records her time of death as 3.10 p.m. (1410 GMT)

[Buckingham Palace had released a statement](https://www.financedigest.com/buckingham-palace-statement-on-death-of-queen-elizabeth.html "Buckingham Palace statement on death of Queen Elizabeth") just after 12.30 p.m. that day to [say doctors were concerned about the queen’s](https://www.financedigest.com/world-says-goodbye-to-britains-queen-elizabeth-from-cafes-and-consulates.html "World says goodbye to Britain’s Queen Elizabeth from cafes and consulates") health and that she would remain under medical supervision. Her death was [officially announced](https://www.financedigest.com/pega-pool-announces-the-official-launch-of-its-eco-friendly-bitcoin-mining-pool.html "PEGA Pool Announces the Official Launch of Its Eco-friendly Bitcoin Mining Pool") at 6.30pm.

She had carried out her last official duty, [appointing Liz Truss as prime minister](https://www.financedigest.com/britains-queen-elizabeth-will-appoint-new-prime-minister-at-balmoral.html "Britain’s Queen Elizabeth will appoint new prime minister at Balmoral"), just two days earlier.

The queen, who spent 70 years on the throne, had been [suffering from what Buckingham Palace had called “episodic mobility problems” since](https://www.financedigest.com/uk-factories-suffer-worst-month-since-may-2020-as-economy-stumbles-pmi.html "UK factories suffer worst month since May 2020 as economy stumbles – PMI") the end of last year, forcing her to withdraw from nearly all her public engagements.

The certificate shows her death was registered by her daughter, Princess Anne, on Sept. 16.
