Enhancing its esteemed group of Intellectual Property and Financial Services attorneys, Rimon welcomes Marc Kaufman as a partner in its Washington, DC office.

Mr. Kaufman joins Rimon from Reed Smith, where he was a partner and served as co-leader for the firm’s FinTech team. He assisted clients in [managing and monetizing their intellectual property](https://www.financedigest.com/how-to-get-started-in-the-world-of-property-management.html "How to Get Started in the World of Property Management") assets and defending against patent assertions in district court and through post-grant administrative proceedings such as Inter Partes Reviews.

Mr. Kaufman focuses his practice on intellectual property and patent strategy in particular. He has been very active in creating procedures for procuring and enforcing IP rights as well as structuring and negotiating IP transactions.
