_Caidan joins as European Sales Director after four years leading global client relationships with Allianz_

Global leader in influencing customer behaviour and driving customer devotion, Collinson Group, has appointed Mike Caidan as European Sales Director, responsible for growth across the Group’s capabilities within Europe, as it looks to create a single European Business Development team.

In his role, Mike will be responsible for both the regional Business Development and Group Sales Operations teams. He will also oversee growth of the Collinson [Insurance Brokers business](https://www.financedigest.com/business-insurance-what-does-it-cover.html "Business Insurance: What does it cover?"), as Collinson Group seeks to continue to expand its insurance offering.

Mike joins Collinson Group following ten [years with Allianz, having most recently spent four years as the Director of Global](https://www.financedigest.com/global-stocks-to-grind-higher-lacklustre-year-ahead-reuters-poll.html "Global stocks to grind higher, lacklustre year ahead: Reuters poll") Client Relationships, where he was responsible for building the business approach to managing multi-national clients. He has a [strong background in sales](https://www.financedigest.com/plastic-caps-screw-caps-closures-in-demand.html "Plastic Caps & Closures Witness Strong Sales in Line with Convenience Packaging Trend; Screw Caps & Closures in Demand") and commercial leadership, across UK and international insurance, card services and affinity sales, making him the perfect fit to lead business development within the Region.
